Actually this was the second idea.
First idea is to let the engine run on 3MA1 electronics but du the more mechanical/electronically challenges. I'll start with this idea "running on 3MA3 electronics" as this doesn't involve the high charging coils. (more info about this in the "Running on 3MA1 electronics" section)
3MA3 electronics uses only a 12V supply and a pickup pulse so this will be relative easy to do.
There is certainly a challenge but that is more du to the flywheel lobe location and length but more from this in the "How to" section.
